Our Story

Herizon's mission started in 2023 with twin sisters Ellena and Selene Li.

 

Inspired by their global experiences, embarked on a journey to bridge the global gap between gender inequality around the world. Through their undeniable passion for songwriting, singing, and writing, their cross-curricular approach to gender inequality fostered unique perspectives that allowed them to understand the interconnectedness of art, advocacy, and systemic barriers faced by women worldwide.

 

“We wanted to create a space where women could feel empowered to explore themselves. 

Especially in the world we live in today, where our self-worth is reduced to numbers on a screen, it is so easy for many of us to give in to our insecurities instead of embracing the characteristics that make us truly who we are. Women are constantly expected to change themselves and stay silent just to be taken seriously. Even in the music industry, female artists must find new facets of themselves that other people find to be shiny. Fighting the norm is not easy, as it takes a lot of courage to swim upstream. Helping one person may not change the world, but it could change the world for one person.
