Our Impact as We Enter the New Year
Herizon Awarded Federal Service Recognition 🇨🇦
Co-founders Selene and Ellena Li, Executive Director Shera Xie, and Chapter President Nathan Zhang received the federal service award from the Government of Canada and the Canada-China Federation of Entrepreneurs organization. Selene spoke with the panel and reflected on Herizon’s incredible growth over the past few months.
We are extremely proud of every individual on our team, because without them, we would not be the organization that we are today. From international chapters to media outreach, we continue to cross horizons and support women around the globe.

Our Achievements, Events, and Community Impact
Herizon’s Visit to Fundación Sarahuaro in Los Cabos, Mexico
During the Christmas break, Herizon visited Fundación Sarahuaro, a Women’s Shelter located in Los Cabos, Mexico. Led by co-founders and chapter president Selene, Ellena, and Nathan, 25 volunteers helped Sarahuaro decorate and paint clay pots that will be given to young girls during International Women’s Day in March. These pots represent resilience, beauty, and love. Combining Herizon’s art initiatives with women empowerment, we are able to spread powerful messages throughout the world.
Our team also donated candles, art supplies, cash, and traditional key chains (wishing good health, luck, and wealth) to support Sarahuaro’s recreational programs.
This is the heart of Herizon: spreading love, creating with purpose, and serving others. 🌅💕
