Our Impact as We Enter the New Year

Herizon and Miss World Canada 2025 donate 500+ books to a Native Women's Shelter

On January 10th, Herizon and Angelina Fan, Miss World Canada 2025, visited Hamilton’s Native Women’s Shelter to donate over 500 books ranging from all sorts of genres. In support of their back to school drive, Herizon believes that every woman - regardless of her age, culture, or race - deserves an education with the right support. Through education, women can find their voices and stand up for each other. 🧡

We are building awareness and honoring the Indigenous community in Canada, acknowledging with gratitude that we are on the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples.

Our Achievements, Events, and Community Impact

Herizon’s Visit to Fundación Sarahuaro in Los Cabos, Mexico

During the Christmas break, Herizon visited Fundación Sarahuaro, a Women’s Shelter located in Los Cabos, Mexico. Led by co-founders and chapter president Selene, Ellena, and Nathan, 25 volunteers helped Sarahuaro decorate and paint clay pots that will be given to young girls during International Women’s Day in March. These pots represent resilience, beauty, and love. Combining Herizon’s art initiatives with women empowerment, we are able to spread powerful messages throughout the world.

Our team also donated candles, art supplies, cash, and traditional key chains (wishing good health, luck, and wealth) to support Sarahuaro’s recreational programs.

This is the heart of Herizon: spreading love, creating with purpose, and serving others. 🌅💕
